Job Summary
The Mission Control Analyst plays a pivotal role in optimizing daily resource allocation and ensuring seamless operations within our Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) environment. This position is responsible for analyzing work volume, managing resource distribution, collaborating with various teams to enhance cross-training and redundancy, driving revenue goals, and supporting financial planning. The Mission Control Analyst acts as a central hub for operational efficiency, ensuring that resources are dynamically aligned with client needs and organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Resource Allocation
Monitor Work Volume: Assess daily available work volume against active capacity to determine resource needs.
Resource Distribution: Allocate and reallocate resources dynamically to different client operations based on real-time data.
Collaboration with Ops Team Leads: Work closely with Operations Team Leads to ensure resources are effectively utilized to meet daily production targets.
Cross-Training and Redundancy Planning
Develop Training Plans: Collaborate with Trainers to design and implement cross-training programs that enhance team flexibility.
Redundancy Strategies: Establish redundancy plans to ensure backup support for each account, minimizing disruptions in operations.
Revenue Goal Management
Drive Revenue Objectives: Partner with Operations and Account Management teams to align resource allocation with client revenue goals.
Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze performance metrics to ensure revenue targets are met or exceeded.
Financial Planning and Headcount Monitoring
Budget Collaboration: Work with the Financial Planning team to develop and manage budgets related to headcount and resource allocation.
Data Analysis: Monitor headcount data, forecast resource needs, and provide insights to support financial decision-making.
Ad Hoc Analysis and Support
Stakeholder Support: Provide analytical support and data-driven insights to various stakeholders across the organization.
Reporting: Generate ad hoc reports and presentations to inform strategic decisions and operational improvements.
Continuous Improvement
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to enhance resource management processes and implement best practices.
Feedback Integration: Incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders to continuously refine operations.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in operations management, resource planning, or a similar role within a BPO or related industry.
Proven experience in data analysis, financial planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in resource management and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Asana, or similar tools).
Strong understanding of financial budgeting and headcount forecasting.
Desired Qualifications
Advanced Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or data analysis (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional).
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with BPO operations, client management, and service delivery models.
Language Skills: Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus, depending on client requirements.
