AR Team Lead – Revenue Cycle Management (US Healthcare)

About the Role

Neolytix is looking for an experienced AR Team Lead to drive end-to-end Accounts Receivable operations for US healthcare clients. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing AR teams, optimizing collections, reducing aging and denials, and ensuring consistent delivery against client SLAs.

The ideal candidate is a strong people manager with deep AR expertise who can lead from the front, manage performance, and act as a key escalation point for complex payer and client issues.

Key Responsibilities

Team & Operations Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of AR Executives handling insurance follow-ups, denials, and collections

  • Allocate work, monitor daily productivity, and ensure SLA adherence

  • Conduct regular team huddles, coaching sessions, and performance reviews

AR & Revenue Performance

  • Own AR metrics including aging, collections, denial rates, and first-pass resolution

  • Analyze AR aging buckets and drive action plans to reduce >30/60/90/120-day AR

  • Review EOBs, identify root causes of denials, and ensure timely appeals and rework

Quality, Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure adherence to client guidelines, payer rules, and US healthcare compliance standards

  • Maintain quality benchmarks and support internal/external audits

  • Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management and clients

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex payer and client issues

  • Coordinate with coding, billing, QA, and training teams for smooth operations

  • Support client calls, performance reviews, and process improvement discussions

Process Improvement

  • Identify process gaps, automation opportunities, and best practices

  • Support new client transitions, team ramp-ups, and knowledge transfers

Required Qualifications

  • 4 - 6 + years of hands-on experience in US Healthcare AR (RCM)

  • 1 - 2+ years of proven experience as a Team Lead / SME / Supervisor

  • Strong knowledge of:

    • Insurance follow-ups

    • EOB analysis

    • Denials & appeals

    • AR aging management

  • Hands-on experience with one or more EMR/PM systems such as:
    eClinicalWorks, Athena, Epic, Cerner, AdvancedMD, Kareo, Meditech, ECW, MD4 (or equivalent)

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills

  • Comfortable working full-time onsite in Gurugram (Sector 18) during US night shifts
