About Neolytix
Neolytix is a healthcare operations and technology services company supporting 270+ healthcare organizations across the United States. We provide revenue cycle management, credentialing, medical coding, prior authorization, and virtual care support services through delivery teams in Gurugram, Manila, and Chicago. We are expanding our Intelligent Automation capability — building AI-powered workflows that transform how healthcare operations are delivered. This role is part of that build.
The Role
Most AI roles ask you to learn healthcare. This one asks you to bring it.You have spent years working US revenue cycle — denials, AR follow-up, coding, or claims processing. You understand how payers actually behave, not just what their policies say. You also have a technical background or instinct that has never been fully used in a billing role.
This position combines both. As an Intelligent Automation Analyst, you will design and build AI-powered automations that handle healthcare RCM workflows — and you will be the person who validates that they are correct, because you have done the work yourself.
| Who This Is For You have a CS, IT, or engineering degree and ended up in healthcare billing. Or you have deep RCM experience and you are the most tech-comfortable person on your team. Either way — your domain knowledge is the expertise that makes AI automations accurate. We build the tools. You bring the judgment. |
What You Will Do
Design and Build Automations
Using visual workflow automation tools and AI models (full training provided), you will build automations for healthcare RCM processes — denial categorization, appeal drafting, AR prioritization, coding QA, and claim resubmission routing. You describe the process; the tools help you build it.
Own the Validation Layer
When an automation runs, you determine whether its output is correct — not from a checklist, but from your own RCM experience. You write the acceptance criteria. You score the outputs during testing. Your domain knowledge is what separates a useful automation from an inaccurate one.
Surface Automation Opportunities
Working with operations teams, you identify which RCM workflows are strong candidates for automation based on volume, repetition, and your own experience of where time gets lost. You bring those opportunities forward and own them through to production.
Maintain Quality in Production
Once automations are live, you monitor exception patterns, identify where outputs drift from correct, and update the workflow logic accordingly. Payer behavior changes. Your job includes keeping the automation current.
What You Need
Healthcare RCM Experience — Required
At least three years of hands-on US healthcare RCM experience in one or more of the following areas:
| Area | What We Are Looking For |
| AR Denials & Follow-Up | Working knowledge of CO/PR/OA/PI denial code families, payer-specific behavior, timely filing rules, and appeals processes. Able to describe why a specific payer handles a denial differently without looking it up. |
| Medical Coding | CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS working knowledge. CPC, CCS, or equivalent experience — certification preferred but not required if hands-on experience is strong. |
| Claims Processing | Understanding of clean claim requirements, CMS-1500/UB-04 fields, common billing errors, coordination of benefits, and resubmission workflows. |
| Payer Portal Experience | Direct experience using at least one payer portal (Availity, NaviNet, or payer-direct) for claims status, eligibility, or appeals. |
Technical Aptitude — Required
You do not need to be a developer. You need the wiring. These are the indicators:
- Comfortable with Excel beyond basic use — pivot tables, VLOOKUP, working with data sets
- You are the person your team asks for help when a new system or tool is introduced
- Able to look at a batch of denial records and see the patterns without being told what to find
- Can map a process step-by-step including the exceptions — not just the standard path
Preferred (Not Required)
- B.Tech, BCA, MCA, or B.Sc in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering alongside RCM experience
- Experience with any automation or workflow tool — even basic macros, Excel VBA, or similar
- Prior use of AI writing tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) in a work context
- HIPAA awareness or compliance exposure
- Experience across more than one EMR or practice management system
What We Will Teach You
| No Automation Experience Required We provide full training on our automation platform, AI tooling, and workflow design methodology. The healthcare knowledge has to come from you. The technology is our job to teach. |
You will go through a structured onboarding program covering visual workflow automation (no coding required), prompt design for healthcare use cases, and output validation methodology. You will build your first automation within your first 30 days — with full support.
