About this Position 

We are looking to build a core team that will drive a key transformation in US Healthcare management services. We are looking for an individual who has prior experience in US Healthcare – specifically in documenting business requirements for Provider Data Management / Credentialing areas.  

Job Description 

  •  Defines functional, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system. 

  • Understand and help the project manager create the project’s business case by making sure all the high-level requirements are listed in the project scope 

  • Gather requirements from the key stakeholders by using requirement elicitation techniques like brainstorming, requirement workshops, focus groups, and others. 

  • Validate requirements by cross-referencing them with other stakeholders and try to get a buy-in.  

  • Analyze and interpret requirements for their viability against the business objective 

  • Recommend workarounds, value additions and remove solution bottlenecks for the stakeholders.  

  • Document requirements by creating User Stories, use cases, functional and requirement specifications documents.  

  • Categorize requirements as functional (contains the features required by the end-users), non-functional (requirements for the performance and usability of the project) operational (operations that are carried out in the background) and technical and accordingly segregate them in different types of documents. 

  • Prototype and model requirements 

  • Gain requirements sign-off from the key stakeholders by making sure all of them are on the same level of understanding against the requirements and then get written approval from them on the requirements to be developed. 

  • Be the Requirement Gatekeeper and validate any new requirement for their effect and impact on the existing requirement set of the project. 

  • Aid in development and testing of the product  

  • Be a part of the Change Control Process In the event of any change to the requirement/s 

  • Prepare end-user documentation/manuals  

  • Give presentations, show and tell sessions, Overview sessions working with the Project Manager 

  

Required Qualifications: 

  • US Healthcare Domain– Experience preferred 

  • Familiarity with US Health Insurances, Medicare/ Medicaid and associated data sets will be a big plus 

  • Lean Six Sigma/ BPM Certification  

  • Experience as a Business Requirements Analyst or a Systems Analyst  

  • Extensive system analysis experience in capturing requirements for software applications 

  • Project management experience and certification preferred 

  • Advanced Excel and MS SQL Reporting 

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
