Role Overview 

Seeking a Business Process Analyst specializing in healthcare credentialing and enrollment to support client onsite projects and internal product development initiatives. This hybrid role combines client-facing process optimization with strategic contribution to proprietary healthcare technology solutions. 

Key Responsibilities 

Onsite Project Delivery (30-40% time): 

  • Document current-state credentialing and enrollment workflows at client locations 

  • Create detailed SOPs for provider credentialing, payer enrollment, and maintenance processes 

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews with credentialing coordinators, medical staff offices, and administrators 

  • Map complex multi-payer credentialing requirements and timelines 

  • Facilitate process improvement workshops focused on credentialing efficiency 

Offshore Business Analysis (60-70% time): 

  • Platform Development Support: Translate credentialing domain expertise into detailed business requirements for technology solutions 

  • Requirements Gathering: Document user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows for healthcare automation features 

  • Product Enhancement: Analyze client feedback and market needs to recommend platform improvements 

  • Internal Process Optimization: Standardize credentialing delivery methodologies and quality frameworks 

  • Training & Knowledge Transfer: Develop training materials for operations teams based on onsite learnings 

Required Qualifications 

  • Experience: 3-6 years in US healthcare operations, preferably credentialing/enrollment/provider data management 

  • Domain Knowledge: Understanding of CAQH, state licensing, malpractice, hospital privileges, and payer enrollment processes 

  • Documentation Skills: Experience creating detailed process documentation, user guides, and training materials 

  • Visa Status: Valid US B1/B2 visa with ability to travel 25-30% of time 

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to translate business processes into technical requirements and system specifications 

  • Communication: Strong English communication for client interaction and internal stakeholder management 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Previous experience with credentialing software platforms or databases 

  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements (NCQA, Joint Commission, CMS) 

  • Understanding of technology platforms used in credentialing workflows 

  • Experience in BPO/KPO transition projects 

  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and requirements management
