Job Overview:

Neolytix seeks a seasoned professional with comprehensive experience in double-entry bookkeeping, payroll processing, and invoicing for BPO/KPO services across companies in the USA, Philippines, India, and Canada. This is a permanent role that entails supporting the FPA team and maintaining updated processes and controls for accurate accounting.

The ideal candidate must be highly motivated with exceptional communication skills and will report to the Managing Partner in the US.

Job Description:

  • Conducts accounting maintenance, including reconciling financial accounts such as bank accounts, credit cards, and invoice receipts, as well as categorizing transactions and reviewing descriptions.
  • Establishes financial controls to audit and verify expenses booked in the company.
  • Prepares and updates month-end work papers, journal entries, and financial report packages.
  • Ensures timely processing of payroll for different locations in collaboration with Talent Management and WFM Teams.
  • Conducts payroll reconciliation and makes necessary accrual adjustments.
  • Prepares accrual adjustments related to revenue, expenses, fixed and intangible assets, and short- and long-term liabilities, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable ledgers.
  • Ensures accurate and timely invoicing for the US Entity.
  • Follows up on unpaid/aged invoices.
  • Prepares a monthly reporting package for global entities and consolidates views.
  • Provides timely and high-quality analysis and deliverables.
  • Ensures compliance with SEC, BIR, and other statutory requirements, including renewal of business registration.
  • Documents all processes and mentors other teams to ensure proper financial controls.
  • Ensures timely monthly closing of entities.
  • Maintains a calendar of all key activities throughout the year.
  • Recommends and implements standardized process improvements identified in day-to-day activities.
  • Responds to and resolves queries from internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner.
     

Job Requirements:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred but not required, with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with US GAAP preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy.
  • Familiarity with accounting software like Xero and QuickBooks.
  • Must have a background in local statutory filings, including but not limited to BIR and SEC.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Can occasionally work on-site, if needed.

Technical Requirements:

  • Internet speed of 30MBPS or higher.
  • i5 or higher processor/Mac 2020 or later.
  • Minimum of 8 GB RAM.
  • Private and quiet dedicated home office area.
  • Backups in case of power or Telco interruptions.
  • Good headset and webcam.
