Healthcare Operations Specialist - Onsite
Healthcare Operations Specialist
Neolytix | Chicago, IL (On-site) | Full-time
About Neolytix
Neolytix is a healthcare management services organization supporting 270+ provider groups across credentialing, enrollment, revenue cycle management, patient access, and payer analytics. We’re building InCredibly — a provider data intelligence platform that’s changing how credentialing and enrollment operations work. Our Chicago office is the US hub of a global team spanning three countries.
The Role
You’ll be a credentialing and enrollment operations specialist who also serves as the voice of our platform to prospects and clients. This role combines hands-on healthcare operations work with product demonstrations, webinars, and a growth path into product management for someone who wants to shape the tools they’ve spent their career wishing existed.
This is an in-office position at our Chicago location. We’re a small, senior US team — you’ll work directly with company leadership and have outsized impact from day one.
What You’ll Do
Credentialing, Enrollment & Licensing Operations
Support provider credentialing, enrollment, and licensing workflows alongside our President & COO, working directly with clients and payer organizations
Manage onshore client communications related to provider onboarding, enrollment status, and credentialing timelines
Visit local clients for relationship management, document collection, and operational support
Support payer contract negotiation communications — drafting correspondence, tracking responses, and coordinating follow-ups
Product Demonstrations & Webinars
Conduct product demonstrations of InCredibly, our credentialing and enrollment platform, for prospects, clients, and industry analysts
Lead and support webinars on credentialing operations, enrollment workflows, and industry topics
Translate your operational experience into compelling product narratives that resonate with healthcare administrators and practice managers
Product Growth Path
Participate in product sprint reviews, contributing domain expertise to platform development decisions
Over time, take on product ownership responsibilities including backlog grooming, user story development, and user acceptance testing
Serve as the bridge between operational reality and product design — the voice of the credentialing professional in every product conversation
Office Operations
As part of a small US team, help keep the Chicago office running — supplies, scheduling, travel coordination, and basic administrative support
What We’re Looking For
Must Have
3–5 years of direct experience in provider credentialing, enrollment, or licensing — at a provider organization, health plan, CVO, or MSO
Working knowledge of CAQH, NPPES/PECOS, state licensing boards, and payer enrollment processes
Strong verbal and written communication skills — you can explain a credentialing timeline to a CFO and a payer enrollment delay to a frustrated practice manager with equal confidence
Organized, structured thinker who manages multiple workflows and deadlines without dropping balls
Comfortable with technology and able to learn new platforms quickly; you form opinions about why software is built the way it is
Willing to work on-site at our Chicago office full-time
Nice to Have
Experience with provider enrollment across multiple states or payer types (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid)
Familiarity with Power BI, HubSpot, or healthcare analytics tools
Experience presenting to groups — whether client trainings, team meetings, or conference sessions
Exposure to healthcare technology platforms (credentialing software, practice management systems, EHRs)
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Why This Role Is Different
Most credentialing jobs are heads-down task execution with a ceiling. This one puts you in the room with company leadership, in front of clients and prospects, and on the path to product management in health IT. You’ll use your operational expertise every day — and you’ll also shape the platform that’s automating the workflows you know better than anyone.
If you’ve ever looked at the tools you use and thought “I’d build this differently,” this is your chance to prove it.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary commensurate with experience
Health, dental, and vision benefits
Growth path into product management with mentorship from leadership
Direct exposure to platform development, client strategy, and company operations
